A beautiful 300 year old converted coach house in the heart of the Languedoc area of the South of France. The villa is surrounded by fields of sunflowers and wheat, perfectly quiet and tranquil. On the ground floor you will find a spacious and well equipped kitchen and dining room which leads out to the covered dining terrace with table and chairs to enjoy perfect meals outside with family and friends. The house is located just outside the beautiful village of Labastide d'Anjou. In the village are restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, boulangerie, post office. A short drive is the large town of Castelnaudary, home of the Cassoulet, truffle markets and The Canal du Midi. Built in the 14th century, Revel is a typical medieval fortified town. Lined with old houses, the main square of Revel has a beautiful covered market hall topped by a bell tower at its centre. Saturdays mornings are lively with the magnificent traditional market taking place under the hall. This market rich in local products is among the hundred most beautiful markets in France. Labastide is within 1 hour of Toulouse, Carcassonne, the beach at Narbonne, The Black Mountains and the Pyrenees.
