“The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The property is well kept and you fee like you have the entire place to yourself. Raoul and his wife are incredible. Not only did he provide a wonderful place to stay, but he his insight into the area, what to do, and knowledge of wine were invaluable. He even went out of his way to take us to a friend’s vineyard on a Sunday when everything else was closed to show us the wine he was making, did a tasting, and showed us around the area. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here!”

“This chateau is a little bit hidden, but this makes it also a beautiful and quiet place. We liked everything. The hosts are very friendly and helped with the luggage. This place is clean with big rooms. We loved the kitchen and the bath. The surroundings are great to enjoy the quiet and have a sip of wine. For us it was a perfect place to relax.”

Centrally situated for trips to towns and villages and wine producers in the regions Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais. We appreciated to taste the very first bottle of wine of Chateau de Balleure together with our hosts. The wine was bottled the day before. “Es ist ein phantastisches Schloss mit 2 wunderschönen, sehr großen, sehr modernen, aber zum Burgcharakter passenden Gäste-Wohnungen. Es gibt eine toll ausgestattete Küche. Das Beste sind aber die sehr netten Gastgeber, die unglaublich interessante Geschichten erzählen können. Wenn man rechtzeitig nachfragt und Glück hat, kommt man vielleicht in den Genuss ihres 3-Gänge-Menus, das es locker mit einem Sternerestaurant aufnehmen kann (wir hatten den direkten Vergleich :). Wir haben noch nie eine so hochwertige Weinkarte gesehen. Auf jeden Fall sollte man auch den Blend des Schlosses probieren!
