Our room was in the attic with beautifully restored timber beams. Although we spoke hardly any French and Pascal spoke hardly any English, he was so pleasant and welcoming. Lovely nature and always happy and smiling. You could tell he was proud of the Chateau. They also kindly offered an evening meal although we arrived on the night the restaurant was closed. The breakfast in the morning was great served our the friendly host, Pascal. This was a good option for our stop over on the way to Lourdes.

Château Puygrenier is a former 1780 wine-making property set 2 km from the centre of Villefranche-de-Lonchat and 19 km from Saint-Emilion. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi access and a children’s playground. Rooms and suites feature exposed beams, wooden floors and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and a bath or shower. A flat-screen TV is provided in the suites. Guests are invited to enjoy breakfast every morning at Château Puygrenier. A restaurant available on the property. Restaurants can be found 4 km away, in Minzac. Bergerac is 41 km away and free private parking is available on site.

We do this project with a lot of passion for the cultural exchange, the region, the wines and the cuisine. We like to share from all our heart and a lot of friendchips have been created here, and that's worth it every day.

Our property from 1780, has been built before the french revolution. It became later a vineyard, but this activity had been stopped a few years ago. We made of it a place for cultural exchange,,we can guide them very well through our partners to discover our beautiful region.

Château Puygrenier is only 1,5km from the centre of Villefranche-de-Lonchat, a former english bastide from the 13th. You'll find a restaurant,very recommandable for its excellent quality, a pub, two bakeries/shops, a pharmacie and doctors. Only 5 km away, you arrive at lac de Gurson, a wonderful lake for swimming and other activities, kids and adults will appreciate. In Montpon-Ménestérol, at only 10km away, you'll find everything necessary in this town. St-Emilion, capital of right river Bordeaux wines under UNESCO protection is only 20 min away and a must to visit.
