This year has seen many changes. As a young couple, Ivan and I have been looking for a property in which we could develop our common project and passion for ceramic arts . A project in which we can enjoy our different passions; such gardening, pottery, photography and art in all it's forms along with family, friends and guests. Being nature lovers, amateurs of the good life and fine food we where looking for a special place where we could relax, feeling as if we are permanently on vacation, have rich exchanges and fulfil our dreams. At last, we found what we where looking for at Domaine de Lespoune. We felt straight away the charm and atmosphere of this ancient mansion house which you will find when you come to see us. The Domaine de Lespoune was built in 1715 and is comprised of the mansion house and two large farms which exploited over 400 Ha of agricultural land, extending down to the banks of the river Gave d'Oloron. Today the mansion house has been entirely renovated and the first farm which was exploited until the 1950's has been transformed in to a comfortable guest house respecting the local architecture, ideal for 6/8 persons. Located 5 minutes from the histoic town of Navarrenx with it's many cultural, gastronomic and sporting attractions. In the mansion house you will find a family suite and four large, comfortable rooms, each equipped with it's own bathroom and toilet. Each morning between 8h and 10h you can take breakfast in the park accompanied by the birds and local wildlife. For relaxing after a days trekking or visiting, you can chill out in the park with a direct view over the Pyrénées mountains. Perhaps with a game of pétanque or borrow a book from our library. The Domaine has a ceramic Arts workshop, a car park and free WIFI access.
