We love the weather and outside life here. Fantastic to explore on bikes with other lakes and villages within a 30 minute ride. We have dogs, chickens and grow lots of our own produce and live on site to help you if needed. We do have extra rooms and a gite on site that can take up to 8. We prefer not to let all rooms out so you can relax.

Petit Bijou means little gem and we are sure you'll agree. We have a Charante style house over 250 years old in a small beautiful village called st Fraigne close to the markert town of Aigre. The village with a lazy river running through is quiet and peaceful . The market town of Aigre is 8km south and caters for all basic needs including supermarket, petrol station, banks, bars restaurants and regular markets. Both rooms are set up as doubles but we could add 2 single beds if needed to sunflower room. The 2 rooms are in a separate wing of the house with a shared bathroom. There is also a shared fridge and tea coffee making facility area. Down stairs is s sofa tv dining table area with a large selection of books and dvds. A Wii can be provided if you wanted however we would encourage all guests to admire the garden and local scenery. Towels are provided for rooms rooms but pool towels can be hired. There is a separate toilet by the pool. There is a shared utility room for washing ironing drying etc. We have a games barn for entertainment alongside 14ft trampoline and climbing frame.

We have an award winning bakery in the village a 1 minute walk away that serves delicious bread cakes etc. There is also a cav/bar in town for drinks. There are tennis courts in village that are free to use. Many beautiful long walks and it's a friendly community so you can leave your doors open. The town garden is virtually opposite us. We have a pond and stream/ river in our spacious garden.
