The chalet is a 3km drive from the busy village of La Giettaz, but there are some shops, bars and restaurants around the lift area, which is just a 450m walk away. Whether you are visiting with friends or family, there is plenty of room for everyone and with seven bathrooms, your privacy is guaranteed. But when you want to get together, there's plenty of choice - watch a film in the cosy living room, cook together in the spacious kitchen, enjoy the views from the terrace or relax in the spa area - there's a sauna and stunning sunken hot tub with wonderful views over the mountains. Just 450m from the chairlifts and 3km from the busy village of La Giettaz, Chalet Goville is in a great location for skiers, walkers and mountain bikers. The link from Le Plan to the ski areas of Combloux and Megève means skiers have lots of choice - more than 100km of pistes in the Portes du Mont Blanc area, and still more in the larger Evasion Mont Blanc area, which covers Megève, St-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas de Veroce and Les Contamines. If you're still looking for more, you're just a short drive from the La Clusaz ski area, which has more than 200km of pistes. There's just as much to do in the summer - choose from walking, climbing, mountain-biking, summer luge, picnics, or just enjoy the 360-degree views from the top of some of the ski lifts. The Col des Aravis, a familiar scene in the Tour de France, is also nearby. The owner, a keen cyclist, is happy to take guests on road bike tours in the summer, when the ski room becomes a useful space to store and maintain your bikes.
