2 Tayness is a lovely semi-detached cottage situated in a rural location, two miles from the village of Kilmartin in Argyll. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, as well as a ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and open fire and a sitting room. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and lawned gardens with furniture. 2 Tayness is a convenient base for enjoying a various activities and attractions in the area. The village of Kilmartin is situated at the heart of Kilmartin Glen, one of the most important prehistoric sites on the Scottish mainland. In the area there are rock carvings, standing stones, burial cairns and the remains of the Iron-Age fort at Dunadd. Kilmartin itself has a church, Post Office, shop, pub, a castle and the Kilmartin House Museum with visitor centre housing a café and a shop selling local crafts.
