This cosy cottage in Aldeburgh is the perfect escape for a romantic break at any time of the year. Sleeping up to four guests in two bedrooms, it has all the comforts of home with a wood burning stove and open-plan living area and you can also bring your dog with you.

Aldeburgh and the surrounding countryside has so much to offer. It you are interested in walking you can head straight out from Number 22 along the beach towards Thorpeness and its Peter Pan Meare, or head in land along the Alde estuary following the Sailor's Path to Snape. Snape is the home of the world famous concert hall within the maltings and there are numerous events taking place throughout the year including the Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival. Further afield RSPB Minsmere has some stunning walks taking in the heaths which form part of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Aldeburgh has a vibrant High Street with a number of independent shops. There are some fantastic cafes and restaurants. Two Magpies bakery has delicious treats, the cheese scones are particularly good and if you fancy an evening out both The Lighthouse and The Regatta serve locally produced food with lots of fresh fish on the menu.
