Scandi style bedrooms in a corridor that used to be the chapel aisle are all about the warm tones of Wiltshire larch walls, floors and beds. The rooms and bunk bed layout is carefully designed so as to avoid compromising the full effect of the windows. There are 6 contemporary ensuites rooms all sleeping 4 in a single bed and a triple bunk. One room has a triple bunk and a sofa bed. Sleeps 23-25. Afan Forest Bunkhouse feels much more luxurious than a typical bunkhouse - this architect-designed chapel conversion is an absolute triumph. A fantastic light filled open plan communal space has been created, while managing to retain the beauty of many original features. This bunkhouse has plenty of green credentials too with solar panels and a ventilation system in every room. Traditional arched windows with seating areas overlook the Afan Valley and village of Glyncorrwg, while the double height of the chapel allows for a galleried mezzanine activity room where the organ used to sit. The centrepoint of Afan Forest Bunkhouse is the enormous dining table where everyone can sit down together. This space also doubles up as a place for corporate group board meetings. Stylish stainless steel kitchen fully equipped includes range cooker and dishwasher. 2 jumbo washing machines and dryers. 1. No shoes inside property. 2. No parking in front property (unloading only). 3. No parties or events allowed (Host must approve). 4. Please respect noise curfew 11PM -7AM. 5. Please respect check -in and check -out time. 6. Please don't eat or drink in the bedrooms. 7. Please do your dishes. 8. No illegal substance allowed on premises. 9. Please recycle trash. When bins are filled empty bins in front property in the relevant bins. 10. No smoking, vaping, hookahs, e-cigarettes or smoke machines. 11. Keep windows and doors closed when playing music. 12. Please strip all used beds (leave in the room).

Located in the village of Glyncorrwg in the Afan Forest Park. The landscape is hilly and you can spot some wind turbines in the distance. Approximately 11 miles each to the local towns of Neath and Port Talbot. Port Talbot and the M4 is 25 minutes. Swansea 40 minutes. Neath Valley waterfalls 45 minutes. Brecon Beacons about an hour. The driving distance between Maesteg and Glyncorrwg is approximately 6 miles if you are driving (approximately a 12 mins drive). There is a small supermarket in the village. A Tesco Aldi and Asda in Maesteg. A number of supermarkets will deliver to the Chapel, including Tesco and Asda. Places to visit: Glyncorrwg Hall the local pub. The Corrwg Cwtch is a cafe in a mountain bike centre, next to Afanablast - a bike shop at the bottom of the mountain bike trails. The Refreshment Rooms, Cymmer is a fantastic pub and restaurant located in the picturesque Afan valley Cymmer Afan Library There is a bus that comes every 2 hours. Bus stop approximately 2 minutes walk depending on your pace. Free parking onsite. Taxis do operate in the area.
