## The space The apartment is located in an ideal setting: in the much sought after area of Morningside, close enough to the city centre that you can whizz into town when needs be, Princes Street is only 20 minutes away on foot! Numerous bus routes on Morningside Road keep you connected to all parts of the city. Guests can make the most of this lovely and spacious two bedroom apartment. There are two beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable double beds for you to relax in after a hard day's exploring the wonders of Edinburgh. Light floods into the rooms and the top floor bedroom has a great living area for you to regroup and plan your stay in Edinburgh. My cleaners place fresh, hotel-quality linen and towels on your bed prior to arrival. The modern bathroom is located on the first floor next to the second bedroom. Downstairs on the ground floor you'll find the modern kitchen which includes amenities such as a hob, an oven, a toaster, etc. All you need to prepare a delicious meal. ## The neighborhood The area is famous as the city's "literary quarter", home to authors like Ian McCall Smith, Ian Rankin, and JK Rowling (all in the next street). Yet it's only two minutes walk to a fabulous shopping area, especially for foodies. Everything from upscale supermarkets to specialist grocers and countless independent boutiques is within a few minutes walk. Plus there's and endless choice of cafes, bars, and eateries (and "the world's best pub" according to Rick Stein) all within easy walking distance. While you're escaping the hustle and costliness of the city centre, it's just an eight minute bus ride to get there, with services every couple of minutes. Win win. Or stroll the other way, and there's a pretty canal, or gorgeous wooded glen for leisurely walks, all within easy access. ## Getting around Haymarket Station is a half hour walk away or 20 minutes by bus. Edinburgh Airport is a 25 minute drive from the flat or a 50 minute bus ride. The National Gallery of Scotland and Edinburgh castle are a 20 minute bus ride away and the National Museum of Scotland is a bit closer at under 20 minutes by bus.
