The neighbourhood is perfect for singles, families and groups alike. 50 yards from the property you can find 'The Moon' pub. With fantastic food and a great supply of beverages, its very friendly, cosy and relaxing. Within 300 metres you'll find our award winning fish and chip shop and the 'Lovers Leap' indian restaraunt. Just down the road is a childrens play park. Slightly further towards Calver there is another pub, cafe, petrol station and village shop. There is also a large Outdoor clothing shop, great if youve forgotten to pack anything. A new visitiors center is currently being built in the village, it will contain a cafe and bakery. There are also many local walks and cycle routes leaving the village. There are numerous fantastic walking route and cycling routes in the local area. You will find some route guides and suggestions within the property along with many tourist information leaflets. There is a train station close by in Hathersage and very clearly sign posted roads leading to many of the local tourist attractions.
