Cosy Cottage is well equipped, peaceful and superbly comfortable. A perfect place to get away, relax and unwind. Free on site parking. A king size bed in the main bedroom and dog friendly. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BATHROOM IS DOWNSTAIRS. THE STAIRS ARE STEEP AND NOT SUITABLE FOR THE ELDERLY OR INFIRM. The Cottage sits conveniently in the thriving village of Briston in North Norfolk. The Village hosts a small selection of shops and pubs within walking distance of the cottage, it is ideally situated in Norfolk to explore the wonderful delights it has to offer. Ground Floor: Sitting room with comfortable seating and wood burner, flat-screen TV. Large sofa bed. The sofa bed in the sitting room is large but is probably only suitable for one person, particularly if staying for more than a few days. Dining room with dining table and chairs, small computer desk area. Kitchen fully functional galley style with electric hob, double electric oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, kettle. Bathroom with over-bath power shower, washbasin and WC. Utility with freezer and washer dryer machine. The stairs are quite steep which is fairly usual for properties of this type, therefore this may not be suitable for the elderly or infirm or small children. There is no stairgate at the top of the stairs but you are welcome to bring your own pressure stairgate. There is a fabric stairgate at the bottom of the stairs. First Floor: Bedroom 1 one single bed with separate small double futon. Bedroom 2 with a king size bed Garden: Fully enclosed garden with lawn, patio, table and chairs. The parking area is accessed via the neighbours driveway which is very narrow.

Briston is ideally situated in North Norfolk to explore the wonderful delights it has to offer. A short fifteen-minute drive from Cosy Cottage you arrive at the National Trusts' stunningly beautiful Jacobean house, Blickling Hall. Stody Estate sits on the boundary of Briston Village and is a dog walkers paradise with miles of permissive paths and two designated ‘open access’ dog walking areas. The Georgian town of Holt with a wider selection of shops, restaurants and cafes is only 4 miles away via a pretty, woodland drive. From Holt you can take the popular Poppy Line Steam Railway to Sheringham or be on the coast at Cromer within a 20-minute drive. There is a fabulous bird watching reserve at Cley and Salthouse Marshes just 15 -20minutes drive away.
