The organic, continental breakfast was delicious. The property is set in a lovely, tranquil location with stunning views of the local countryside. Sally and Mark are superb hosts, very friendly with detailed knowledge of the local area. The well appointed cabin room has a pleasant ambience and features a very comfortable bed!

Set in a beautiful location in the centre of a quiet small village, which has a great pub, ideal for getting away from it all.. The breakfast was continental, with loads of fresh, mostly organic fruit, local yoghurt, delicious croissant, toast and a variety of jams and spreads. The hosts Sally and Mark were both very friendly, informative, and mindful of our needs. It was a pleasure to stay at Dart Valley View. Thanks for your hospitality.

My hosts were delightful, very welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect and my stay at Dart Valley View was 'just what the doctor ordered!' The tranquil surroundings were a tonic. This residence is exceptional and we had a wonderful time. Mark and Sally welcomed us like family to their home. The room is discretely separate but anything we wanted we could ask. The breakfast and accompanying lengthy discussions were superb and carefully crafted to be healthy. Travel advice was helpful as was discussing the interests and hobbies of the owners and hopefully not boring them too much with mine. It is perfectly situated for visiting an area I knew as a child and which in some ways has not changed a lot. The Steam railway is nearby as is historic Totnes and the amazing Buckfast Abbey. I could go on....I shall definitely visit again.
