Down the Harbourne estuary and onto the River Dart, you'll find the village of Dittisham. It really is a Devon gem. Nestled a few miles upstream from Dartmouth, this unspoiled and tranquil village is perfect for a relaxing riverside break and really makes the most of its waterside location - from watersports to fishing and leisurely river rides are on your doorstep. Dittisham is also superbly connected by river transport to the Dart Valley’s must-see villages, towns, and attractions. Year-round frequent ferries take you to the historic port of Dartmouth, picturesque Kingswear, and - just across the river on the opposite bank - a quick boat trip takes you to Agatha Christie’s resplendent Greenway holiday home and gardens, now cared for by the National Trust, and an idyllic day out.
