Boldon is a fantastic base for business and leisure guests alike. There are loads of nice food and drink options nearby and an ASDA 5 mins away for those last-minute food dashes! :) Nice local food options are the Black Horse, Red Lion & Sambucas (all 20m) & Travelling Man (25m) in West Boldon and the Colliery Tavern has a nice beer garden all the above about a 20 minute walk or 5 in taxi. East Boldon has the Grey Horse (25m), Blacks Corner (30m) and Beggars Bridge (30m) which is less than than 10 in a taxi. And South Shields has the Sanddancer (award-winning Seafront beach bar with loads of outside seating), Platform 33, Colmans Seafood Temple and of course their amazing fish and chips take away/restaurant along with heaps of great Indian eateries on the legendary Ocean Road.
