Your hosts Robert is a full time beef and sheep farmer in the Exmoor National Park. Robert will often be seen running the farm, on the Quad with his working Collies Jet and Meg in tow. Lucy runs a long established, prize winning flock of Hampshire Down sheep are also run on site and sheep experience workshops are available to guests by prior arrangement with Lucy. Lucy has worked in the hospitality industry for many years and has an attention to detail which shines through in the layout and design of Furze Barn.

Furze Barn has been sympathetically converted with couples in mind. A contemporary newly converted barn retaining the character with exposed beamed ceilings with a spacious and airy feel. A fully equipped kitchen, contemporary wet room with fine bedding in a king size bed to ensure the perfect escape. The spacious living/kitchen area is open plan/dual aspect with views over surrounding, undulating countryside. The courtyard at the front of the property has breath taking views of the surrounding area with a table and chairs, perfect for watching the sun go down over Exmoor. Well behaved dogs are welcome to accompany you on your stay at Furze Barn, with an abundance of plentiful walks on the doorstep, dog bed and Bowls provided. Complimentary eco friendly Body wash, Shampoo washing up liquid and cleaning products will be available and a welcome pack which will include Local milk, Eggs, Bread, Tea, Coffee and Sugar. Private off-road parking is ample.

Herds of red deer are often spotted from the window of Furze Barn which is situated on a working beef and sheep farm in the Exmoor National Park. The hamlet of Withiel Florey is approximately 9 miles from small towns including Dulverton. Wimbleball Lake, open for watersports, walking and other activities is 3.6 miles but can be walked cross country The nearest local pub is 3.3 miles away and village shop at Roadwater is 5.3 miles.
