Garden Cottage is a single storey, centrally heated home in a lovely quiet rural position, overlooking our fields with grazing ponies and lots of wildlife. It is attached to the our house but is completely self contained. We welcome dogs but two maximum and they have to be on a lead in our garden as we have cats, dogs, ponies and children around. We cannot accept other pets. In addition to being a great place for longer or short breaks in our beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, Garden Cottage is a great place to stay if you're visiting the area on business, being less than 10 minutes from the M4 and close to Bath and Bristol. We have excellent wifi speeds and the cottage is well set up for working at home. We also offer a breakfast package to be left in your fridge for either full English or Continental breakfasts at an additional cost.

Eric and I have lived at Five Pines for over 25 years and are able to help you find places of interest to visit or where to find the best food. We love the countryside and the house is surrounded by our paddocks where our horses and ponies graze. Garden Cottage has lovely views across the fields. We are usually here to assist with anything our guests might need and we really enjoy meeting such varied people from all parts of the world.

Acton Turville is a pretty Cotswold village just 1 mile away from Badminton, home of the famous Horse Trials held annually each May. There is a village shop, a pub which serves good pub food and a church all within walking distance. There are supermarkets within 15 minutes drive at Chipping Sodbury. Acton Turville is an ideal centre from which to explore the South Cotswolds. Historic Bath is 30 minutes drive away and Bristol is also easily accessible. There are a number of National Trust properties to visit and Westonbirt Arboretum is also a short drive away.
