The extensive bedroom and living area were perfect. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was an excellent start to the day, where no wish went unfulfilled Teresa and Malcolm were fantastic hosts and very helpful. On the day of our extremely early departure Teresa made us a delicious breakfast to go/packed lunch! The wifi worked perfectly. We would certainly stay at Vitaver again on our next trip to Orkney.

Amazing location - plenty of room, nicely furbished. Eat, rest, sleep, do a bit of office work. Everything is prepared. We liked especially the prepared self-prepare breakfast. Just getting up, finding everything in place or in the fridge (fresh eggs! fresh self-made bread! self-made marmalade/jam, ...), preparing a decent breakfast, enjoying coffee, tea, hot chocolate, variations of cereals, ham and cheese, ... This place was a very cosy and comfortable place to stay surrounding our activities in Orkney. So much support on our hosts on that as well - maps, recommendations, ... From the very warm welcome to our sad departure, it was a wonderful time!

spacious, great location on the water, all the facilities you would need for a chilled break. Teresa was an exceptional host, taking time to make sure you were comfortable and helped in booking meals out or sorting bus times. when the Ferry journey return was grounded, she advised us of alternative arrangement which meant we were able to stay and enjoy the rest of our break without worry.

Where do i begin? We really liked the fact it was a nice mix of a B&B and self catering, with more than enough food including lots of local produce which was lovely. The hosts were so helpful and friendly, they genuinly wanted you to have a good stay. The welcome tray of a bottle of wine and Orkney was a lovely touch. The bedroom and lounge area were huge!!! Very comfortable bed and seating areas. Fresh, warm, homemade soda bread delivered as required in a morning🤗 the view was stunning. Worth the 5 minute walk to the Sands Hotel for amazing food and drink. Thank you Theresa & Malcolm we know where to stay next time we visit Orkney.😁😁
