Welcome to Duck Hill Cottage, a 3 bedroom cottage in the heart of Ripon with allocated parking. Perfect for those either visiting the area for work or to experience all of the delights the area has to offer.

We are a dedicated family run business offering high-quality Serviced Accommodation across Yorkshire. We strive to provide a memorable stay for all our guests, going above and beyond in all respects. Duck Hill Cottage is a large semi-detached property in Ripon city centre. Not many other properties in the area are able to accommodate 6 people and can boast as having allocated parking. You enter the cottage from the rear (next to the single allocated parking space). The entrance leads into the Utility Room which houses the washing machine. This room also doubles up as a boot room, ideal for those visiting on hiking holidays. Heading straight through the Utility Room, you will find a small bedroom on the right with a single bed and next to that is a larger double bedroom. Turning immediately left from the Utility Room, you enter the Kitchen / Dining area which has a large country dining table with seating for 6. There is a newly installed kitchen with an integrated dishwasher and cooker. in addition, there is a fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all of the cutlery, crockery and utensils you will need for your stay. There is also an additional seating area in the corner of the Dining Room. Heading through the Dining Room, there is a small toilet to your left and a Sitting Room comprising of two large sofas and a large, wall mounted Smart TV with Netflix pre-loaded. Next to the Sitting Room you will find the stairs leading up to the first floor which houses the main bathroom. The bathroom has recently been renovated and contains a large shower, bath, toilet and basin. Next to the bathroom is the main bedroom which has a king size bed as well as a single day bed.

This city’s history is entwined with the church, both due to the cathedral in Ripon city centre and its proximity to the nearby Fountains Abbey. Ripon also boasts an outstanding racecourse, a glorious stately home, a magnificent abbey and popular theme park. There are always great things to do in Ripon. The growth of the city through trade and manufacturing led to the building of a canal to link it to the navigable parts of the River Ure. Today this makes Ripon a delightful city to explore, with riverside and canal side walks that reach into the countryside and buildings that span the last thousand years.
