Laurel Cottage is an end-terrace cottage in the village of Iveston, just 10 miles from Durham. The cottage sleeps six people in two double bedrooms and one twin, plus a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a gas fire, as well as a conservatory. Outside is off road parking for three cars and a lawned garden with furniture. Situated in the heart of the beautiful countryside of County Durham, Laurel Cottage is a comfortable family cottage from which to explore this lovely part of the country. Set in the beautiful countryside of County Durham, approximately ten miles to the west of the historic City of Durham, is the village of Iveston. The village took its name from Ive’s Stone- the stone on which St Ivo is said to have preached to Roman soldiers. Today, the Roman connection is reflected in the many Northumbrian tourist attractions along Hadrian’s Wall.
