This stone cottage has two bedrooms, a double and a double with a sofa bed, along with a bathroom, a cloakroom, a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a gas fire. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and hairdryer, and for entertainment there is a TV and WiFi. Outside, there is an enclosed terrace garden with a patio and furniture, and off-road parking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Sorry, this is a smoke-free property. One well-behaved dog is allowed downstairs only. You can find a shop, pub and the River Eden within 0.2 miles. Hallway between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, Leisure Cottage is a fantastic base for a trip to Cumbria.

Kirkby Lonsdale is a charming market town in the middle of the Lune Valley, halfway between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The town was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 and has a Market Charter from the 13th century. Today, Thursday is market day, providing an excellent opportunity for visitors to explore the town's unique individual stores as well as the many 17th and 18th century structures that still survive. In 2016, the town was also a finalist for the High Street of the Year Award.
