Moon Field Lodge, a delightful abode consists of an open-plan living space including a kitchen with an AGA, 2 x oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, a dining area, a sitting area with woodburning stove and Smart TV, and a utility with washing machine. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor king-size with woodburning stove, three king-size, and a twin, along with a bathroom, ground-floor bathroom, and a shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, a garden room with TV, and off-road parking for 6 cars. Highchair and travel cot available. Shop 4.2 miles, pub 5.0 miles. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stoves, bed linen, and towels are all included in the price. Moon Field Lodge makes a charming base for an escape to Lincolnshire. Note: The steps to the first floor are steep with a handrail on each side, please take care. Note: Step up to shower and WC. Note: Check-in from 4:30pm and check-out by 11am.

The picturesque village of Belton lies in beautiful Leicestershire countryside and has a pub with award-winning restaurant and a shop. More facilities can be found close by in Shepshed, which was mentioned in the Domesday Book, with its individual shops, cafés and pubs, and many ancient buildings dating back to the 17th century. Nearby are the 200 square miles of the National Forest, an environmental project covering parts of Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire. The area offers many wonderful walks of varying distances, adventurous cycle routes, horse riding, fishing, numerous watersports and off-road driving experiences in a variety of vehicles. The National Forest area also provides many museums, country houses and gardens, fairs and festivals, as well as riverside regattas, concerts and theatre performances. Within an hour’s drive are the Peak District National Park, Chatsworth House and racing at Uttoxeter. A wonderful area for a memorable holiday at any time of year.
