Host Alisdair is a delight and full of useful tips.

Alasdair and Deidre are such wonderful hosts. My two daughters, husband, and I were only able to stay one night in this charming B&B, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay which included walking around the beautiful garden, visiting the sheep on the property, swinging on the swinging chair on the lawn as well as walking down to the water and pebble beach. We really enjoyed the family suite- -the bathroom was well organized and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the views from the rooms. And breakfast was simply lovely-- we sat around a large table with other guests and our hosts made sure to introduce everyone. It was lovely to chat a bit with our hosts, but also meet the other guests and exchange tips about traveling around Scotland.

secluded with beautiful gardens, direct views of the water and 10 minutes from Inverness

beautiful location. Truly passionate about keeping this great place as the best B&B in Scotland. Love the garden and surroundings. Home made jams and fruit is fantastic

amazing setting and cannot say enough about our hosts! they are helpful, attentive , caring, just amazing people, making you feel special! like if you were visiting your family away from home!

Perfection! Not only are they rated the Best B&B in Scotland, they're also the nicest people! They make dinner reservations, tell you all the places to go and see, and the gardens are must-see. They have thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was exceptional! The half breakfast will be more than enough; I promise, portions are large! The beds were the most comfortable during our 2 week roadtrip through Scotland. Do yourself a favor and stay several days. It's the perfect base for all your Scottish adventures! Worth every pound!

Our hosts Alasdair & Deirdre were welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The accommodation was fantastic, everything was of a high standard. Every facility was there, couldn’t want for anything. The location was perfect, beautiful grounds, with lovely views across the river.

We loved everything about this property! great location and the gardens were immaculate and the only noise around was birds singing .The cottage had everything we needed, very clean and the beds were top quality and so comfortable. The hosts were also so nice and friendly and helped us plan our day trips etc. I will definitely be back .

.This property is in the ideal location to go in all directions from Inverness without being in the city. It's set in a quiet spot with fantastic views over the water. The wild life to be seen in the surroundings of the substantial grounds are plentiful. Squirrels, grouse and even two baby deer. Don't even think about trying to pre-plan your day as Alistair will tell you the best places to visit, even going to the trouble of printing off maps, and sitting down with you to discuss the best route. I would thoroughly recommend this property. Even though it's a narrow road in places to the property it is well signposted and we hardly saw another car.

Beautiful location w/ amazing view over Moray Firth. Very calm and relaxing (slept really well). Great cooked breakfast w/ lot of choices. Hosts are really eager to help us discover the Highlands, and can share “trips” based on our interests We stayed in the Annex w/ 2 rooms. Very convenient with microwave, washing machine
