The space We are very excited to welcome guests to Teifi cottage. The cosy cottage is characterful and previously formed part of the dairy farm. Built from local stone, Teifi cottage has some wonderful features throughout with some modern additions to allow guests to enjoy the best of both worlds. The open plan kitchen/ dining area is the newest addition to the cottage allowing guests to take in the breathtaking views across the Black mountains and Carreg Cennen castle. Teifi cottage has been thoughtfully furnished with comfort in mind. The property sleeps up to 4 guests (one king and one twin bedroom). Downstairs, there will be food/ water bowls for your pet to use during their stay. The cottage sits in the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains are a 10 minute drive away with stunning views and walks. Carreg Cennen castle is a 10 minute walk up the hill from the cottage. Whether you choose to explore by car or on foot, you will not be disappointed with the views and setting of Teifi Cottage. Ground floor: Entrance hallway leads to the open plan kitchen/ dining room as well as the downstairs shower room and living room. The modern kitchen/ dining room is generously sized, and kitted out for home dining. Use of appliances include an oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher and wine cooler. Smaller appliances include a microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, and food processor. The large dining table is perfect for those who want to work from the cottage too; the cottage benefits from Superfast fibre broadband. Here you can enjoy views across the countryside from the large dining table, whilst also bringing the outside in by being able to open the bi - folding doors which open out into the private patio and garden. For stays during the colder months, underfloor heating within this area will provide additional comfort for guests. The modern downstairs bathroom is well equipped with large walk in shower, WC and sink.

Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, United Kingdom The property is in Carmarthenshire, Wales and is set within the village of Trap. Local attractions- Llandeilo is a pretty former market town with many independent shops, cafes, gift shops and galleries displaying art and crafts of local artists. There are many walks to enjoy which are on the doorstep. We are fortunate to have the magnificent Carreg Cennen Castle nearby which we would recommend visiting. Perched on a great limestone crag above the River Cennen, its silhouette dominates the skyline for miles around. The castle is a 10 minute walk up the hill from the cottage or 2 minutes by car to the car park. You can walk down the road to the right before the car park, down into the valley then follow the path by the river which will then lead you up the hill to the castle (40 minutes). At the bottom of the castle hill is the farm shop with a choice of drinks, cakes and ice cream. The cottage is in the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains are a 10 minute drive away with stunning views and walks. The Park has some of the highest quality dark skies in the whole of the UK, making it the perfect destination for stargazers. WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre offer 15% off your visit when you stay with us. The National Botanic Garden of Wales with the world’s largest single-span glasshouse and wonderful plant collection is 12 miles away from the cottage. You can visit the British Bird of Prey Centre and Butterfly House there or follow one of the many countryside trails. The National Trust Newton House in Dinefwr Park is surrounded by a deer park and nature reserve with its famous white cattle. Dinefwr Park can be accessed within a 10 minute drive and also benefits from its own castle with views over the Tywi valley.
