This Grade II listed townhouse has a quirky, charming feel and couldn't be more perfectly located. Step out of the front door and you are in heart of the River Severn and Shrewsbury town centre, with its vibrant cafe culture, timber-framed buildings, and independent boutiques. Shrewsbury Quarry is on your doorstep and we have allocated parking space just around the corner. We have a large spacious lounge and dining area, with SMART TV. Be aware of the ceilings downstairs, they are a little low. The lounge leads into the kitchen. Upstairs we have two bedrooms. Bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has two singles. The family bathroom is also located upstairs, with a shower over the bathtub. With this being an old townhouse the stairs are reasonably steep and mind your head on the doorways. The cottage is in a great location to relax after experiencing everything Shrewsbury has to offer. So whether you are friends, family or couples wanting to enjoy a town centre break. Or you are looking for a home, away from home while away on business, our cottage on Swan Hill is perfect. The house is set in the centre of Shrewsbury and both the train and bus station are a 5-minute walk. Shrewsbury is steeped in history and the house is located right in the centre of this historic town. Shrewsbury has a whopping 660 listed buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries. The Quarry Park is a 2-minute walk, which is a beautiful 29-acre parkland providing the perfect place to relax, enjoy walks or have a picnic. At the heart of the Quarry lies the Dingle, a floral masterpiece cultivated by world-renowned gardener Percy Thrower. A 2-minute walk right out of the house will bring you into the town centre with its quaint back streets, independent shops, and a huge abundance of restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all tastes, across the bridge is the Theatre Severn.
