3 bedroom cottage apartment set in beautiful open countryside Use of hot tub, outside patio, Egyptian cotton sheets and hypoallergenic duvets & pillows. Water purification units on all taps, providing clean pure water. Laundry facilities available, iron and ironing board. Upstairs cottage apartment with full kitchen, living room, dining area, separate double bedroom with en-suite, & small single bedded room. Off the patio outside is a downstairs twin room with own shower & separate WC. Ideal for friends, teens or grandparents. Kettle provided. High chair, toddler chair seat, stair gate, travel cot- please provide bed linen for the cot. We always provide a welcome basket, fresh milk, tea, coffee, freshly laid organic eggs, shower essentials.
I've been a self employed midwife and now retired to spend more time with family and my beautiful garden. I enjoy travelling in Asia and Europe & going to festivals in the UK and in Europe. I love being in my kitchen cooking up beautiful home grown food from my garden. My husband is a professional musician, and we have 5 grown up children and 3 grandchildren. Hosts live in farmhouse and often found in the garden gardening or tending hens, but happy to answer any questions or info.
Beautiful countryside with views of the Mendip hills, very close to Glastonbury festival and the award winning Moons Cider. There are 3 local pubs all serving great food. *The Crown Pilton, 1.7 miles, hosts Pilton's Big Comedy Night on the last Wednesday of the month, Have I got Booze for You Quiz night 1st Wed of the month and Folk night 2nd Wed of the month & Open Mic-last Thurs of the month. Also has a great outside space with children's play area. *The Apple Tree Inn west Pennard 0.4 miles *The Red Lion West Pennard 1.4 miles. Local CO-OP shop & Post Office in Pilton Village 1.7 miles. Opens 7am till 9pm daily. Private parking, 15 minute walk to Glastonbury Festival gate. Very beautiful walks along the Monarch Way Public Footpath. Glastonbury town-4mile drive. City of Wells-4 mile drive. 3 miles to Pennard House Wedding venue. 3 miles to The Royal Bath and West Show Ground. 5 miles from Castle Cary railway station.
