If you fancy trying out your culinary skills then book a course at Eckington Manor Cookery School, with a range of classes from tapas through to authentic Thai cookery. The nearby riverside market towns of Pershore and Evesham are both a short drive away, providing a selection of retailers and theatre. Worcester has a varied heritage to explore including the 11th century Cathedral, the Royal Worcester Porcelain Factory with its museum, and Greyfriars’ House and Garden. Enjoy a day at the races Worcester, Cheltenham and Stratford upon Avon, all within an hour’s drive. Bredon Hill and the Malvern Hills are wonderful for walking and cycling. Two National Trust properties well worth visiting are Snowshill Manor, packed with fascinating treasures, and the beautiful gardens at Hidcote.
