The Moorings, sleeping 8+2, is a beautifully furnished New England style retreat set within the gated community of The Landings, a stunning 114 acre sailing & fishing lake in the Cotswold Water Park. Water sports, walking & cycling are on tap, or kick back in the private heated hot tub & stare at the ever-changing sky & water! The large private deck with outdoor furniture, gas BBQ, hot tub & private jetty has plenty of space for sitting out & uninterrupted lake views. Furnished to a high standard, The Moorings offers a spacious open plan living area with a fully fitted kitchen, dining & lounge area with lake views. There are 4 double bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor. Three of the bedrooms have 5’ zip and link beds that can be converted into twins if required. Bedroom 4 has a 4’6” bed and there is a steep ships ladder leading off this bedroom to a small mezzanine area with a round window and loft bed. Suitable for older children/teenagers to chill out/sleep. There are 3 bathrooms (two of which are en suite), including a shower room on the ground floor, ideal if returning from any water sports.

The Moorings benefits from the range of free facilities and activities available on The Landings, making it ideal for families with children of all ages. You have full access to the 2 tennis courts as well as many walking & cycle paths. There is bike storage & bike hire is available. Neighbouring Spring Lake, 5 minutes' walk away, can fulfil all your water sports aspirations with waterskiing, wakeboarding & even inflatable rides. There is also the Lakeside Brasserie on Spring Lake which serves excellent food, fine wine and beers, live sports on the many screens available. A short walk takes you to the Four Pillars Hotel and Boathouse Restaurant and a little further you will find the pretty village of South Cerney with a shop and good pubs and restaurants. If you can tear yourselves away, The Moorings is ideally situated too for exploring the towns and villages of the beautiful Cotswolds region. The well-known quintessential English villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Moreton-in-the-Marsh are all within easy reach and make a great day out. Cirencester known as ‘The Capital of the Cotswolds’, is just 4 miles away.
