The Owl's Nest is an Adorable One Bedroom Cotswold Studio. We hope to create a calm, friendly and accommodating environment for you to stay in our latest labour of love. Life is peaceful and quite here in our deceptively secluded spot in the hamlet of Watledge, on the Cotswold Way. We are within easy walking distance of the vibrant town of Nailsworth, as well as Amberley and Minchinhampton Common, with short drives to Cirencester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Tetbury, Bath, Badminton and Gatcombe. Come, relax and enjoy the Cotswolds. There is parking for your car here. Nailsworth and Minchinhampton common are 15 minutes walk away. These are just two of plenty of great walking destinations. Stroud rail station is around 10 minutes away and easily accessible by taxi. There are also buses along the Valley below (a 5 minute walk).

We both work and enjoy a rural life style, we have horses and dogs here at home and enjoy the outdoors. We enjoy like to give our guests space but are available when needed. We live next door to The Owl's Nest, enjoy meeting new people and are here as much or as little as you need. Happy to help and equally happy to leave you alone to your space and time away.

The Owl's Nest, situated next to our house at Dunkirk Bank is in Watledge, which is in the Parish of Amberley. We love our location. We have a fabulous spot, right on the Cotswold Way and cycle path, which is a 15 min walk into the now funky and fascinating Nailsworth, which was the Sundays Times No. 32 in the best towns in the UK! We are also a steep 15-20 min walk, depending on your fitness, to the beautiful classically Cotswold village of Amberley, which is on the edge of Minchinhampton Common with its cows and horses roaming free, so romantic and what sold the area and our house to us. Situated in the Stroud Five Valleys, we are close to Stroud, Sunday Times No 1 best town in the UK in 2021, Minchinhampton, Tetbury and Cirencester, and within easy driving distance of Bath, Cheltenham and of course other parts of the Cotswolds such as Bourton on the Water. Nearby in Nailsworth, Amberley or Stroud and slightly farther afield, we have a great location for cycling, walking, sight seeing, shopping and dining out. We are a lovely little tucked away spot, where you can also just chill on your own balcony and enjoy the view!
