Shops, Bars, Cafes and Restaurants, Beaches, Esplanade and Harbour on your doorstep - Close to everything, the Quantock Hills, beautiful Exmoor, spend the afternoon exploring nearby Villages and Towns.

Located in the centre of Watchet, a quaint Harbour Town in West Somerset, our little Cottage is perfectly situated and full of charm - a great base from which to explore the local amenities; with Independent shops, Cafes, pubs, and takeaways, right on the door step. With Walking, Sea Fishing, exploring the Beaches and finding Fossils, building sand castles and Crabbing all on the list of things to do as you enjoy being near the sea. Have a walk to the end of the pier to see the Lighthouse, or explore Exmoor, Minehead & Blue Anchor. Go on the Heritage Steam Train past the Quantock Hills. Take a walk along the Esplanade to get an Ice-cream and watch the boats in the Marina. Or just put your feet up and relax ! Re parking: as with most harbour towns; There is little on street parking in Watchet town centre. You could easily go for walk into the residential streets and find street Parking, but there are 4 car parks in Watchet, 2 of them are super close to the Cottage - Market Street Carpark and Anchor Street Car Park, and are literally 20 footsteps away. With level access to the Cottage. Your front door is set back a bit from the Street, in a pretty little Square so you don’t step directly into the traffic. The harbour, piers, Esplanade and Marina are appx 50 yards from the Cottage too, so plenty to see. The beaches nearby are Helwell Bay, st Andries, West Street Beach ( my favourite) and Blue Anchor Beach. They are pebbly and stony and sandy in patches with rock pools, all very interesting to explore, you might even find a Fossil or two !
