Only 50yds away is the Ha'Penny pier, where you can enjoy fish & chips whilst watching the beautiful sunset, or catch the Harwich Foot Ferry which will take you to Shotley and Felixstowe. If sandy beaches are more your thing, a 10 minute walk will bring you to Harwich beach, where you can walk along the stretch of promenade with the iconic Harwich lighthouses in view to Dovercourt town centre, where you will find local shops and convenience stores. Surrounding the property itself are the winding lanes and streets of Old Harwich, where you will find some fantastic local restaurants and bars, the award winning Alma Bar & Restaurant, The Pier with its beautiful views over the harbour and Thai Up at the Quay to name a few local favourites.
