Please note that, like many old buildings, the outdoor aspect and common areas may occasionally appear unwelcoming, but this ends at the moment you reach the fourth floor. Your Safety and Comfort: Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. The main entrance of the building, the fourth floor and each apartment’s door are easily accessible, yet highly secured! They all open remotely with the use of a unique code or an app. For the convenience of our guests we have established a dedicated elevator for the sole use of the fourth floor. Our professional staff is always ready to assist you remotely and ensure you have an enjoyable stay. While Theatrou Square has seen its share of challenges, we believe in its potential for transformation. The Neighborhood: Theatrou Square has a rich history and is home to some iconic landmarks, including the Diavlos School and the Megaron of Emporio, one of Greece's oldest commercial centers. Most of the landmarks of Athens as well as main attractions are located in short distance (eg. Acropolis – 1.5 km) ! While the neighborhood has its challenges, we're excited to be part of its revitalization efforts. We're pleased to announce that redevelopment plans for the square were approved in 2023, promising a brighter future. With the start of the square's redevelopment works, the remains of a large Roman-era building complex were discovered in the southern part of the square, which had mosaic floors. Remains of the complex were also found on adjacent plots. Local Flavor: A variety of restaurants, local taverns, and bars are located on the surrounding streets, while the most bohem neighborhood of the city, Psyri, is only 5 minutes’ walk away. We encourage our guests to explore the local culture, connect with the community, and embrace the true Athens experience. Please note: We aim for transparency and honesty.
