Comfortable, inviting owner, lovely gardens and magical grounds. Cute cabin. clean shared bathroom with a HOT SHOWER and quality toilet paper (did not disintegrate). kayaks for rent and so much to see. Definitely hope to return and spend more time.

Hotelito Perdido provides a great atmospheric stay at a riverside jungle lodge. The facilities combine rusticity with comfort. The vegetarian food is tasty and plentiful, and the communal dinners are lovely. There are plenty of excursions available and kayaks on hand at reasonable prices for independent exploration. Highly recommend!

Beautiful spot on the river. Nice family. Good dinner conversation. Great breakfast.

Amazing place, everything was awesome! Wonderful community diner every night and the food is amazing!! We will definitely come back !

The nature around was just stunning.. The host was really kind and helpful! Everything was comfortable and clean. Super recommended. Really eco-friendly structure!

the staff was very friendly. The location, in the jungle was great. the meals, breakfast and dinner are very good!

Wonderful location! We enjoyed this uniquely located hotel with its minimalist accommodation and back-to-nature feel. Loved the kayaking, paddle boarding, and the kind and helpful staff! Food was delicious!

From the blue morph butterflies floating around the gardens to the local hostel crab who hangs out in the bathroom sink at night, this place was delightful. I’m not normally a jungle girl, and it’s been taking me a bit to ease into with the mosquito nets during my travels—but this so far is one place where my nerves just relaxed and I was able to breathe a bit. Tim and his family were incredibly welcoming and made me feel super comfortable as a solo traveler by giving me advice on how to join group trips and what to do around Rio Dulce. I was also so happy to learn that the owner was from my state, which made this extra homely as during that point of my trip I was feeling incredibly homesick. Tim and his family are beautiful souls. The vegan dinners at night were on point and incredibly delicious. Overall, This place has a very homely vibe, where if you wanted to sit and relax all day, you could. Like no need to leave the hostel really.

It‘s nothing less then paradise. Everything about this place is great: nature, rooms, staff, food, things to do, places to chill… we couldn’t have dreamed this place more beautiful and will definitely be back!

I loved everything great place with nice ambience and helpful staff great food and the homemade chocolate was to die for
