Our Vintage Caravan is a caravan located in a prime position on a ledge looking out over the Koppany Valley. Complete with awning, outdoor furniture and it's own firepit, it is a great location to sit back in nature and unwind. There is a fixed double bed at one up and a table and seating at the other, which converts to a second double bed suitable for small children. The caravan also offers a fully equipped kitchen and washroom, with portaloo toilet. Showers are a short walk and toilets will be found in the main building. EHU is available free of charge. It's ideal for two adults looking for a getaway. If you order our breakfast box, the basket will include: Fresh baked roll, a light selection of meats, cheeses, vegetables & fruits, butter, homemade jam, a yoghurt pot, fruit juice, pastry & eggs on request (small extra charge). Please advise on any dietary needs/allergies prior to arrival. We are all about calm, nature, relaxing. We offer an escape from it all and somewhere restful after touring, watersports or hiking. Located on the doorstep of the Koppany Valley trails you can spend hours exploring the vineyards with nestled wine press houses and rolling countryside that stretches for miles. Birds nest directly outside the guesthouse, enjoy butterflies as they dance around the gardens, pick fruit from the trees for breakfast and fish or picnic at a nearby private lake. At night take advantage of the unpolluted dark skies and camp telescope for some stargazing, before settling down and getting cosy round the fire. KOPPANY VALLEY NATURE PARK has been left underdeveloped to encourage wildlife and fauna to develop naturally and nature has flourished. Sit quietly and you have an almost 100 % chance to observe wild animals such as red deer, roe deer and fox. Some other interesting, rare animals that are readily seen are bee-eater, golden oriole, white-tailed eagle, raven, yellow-bellied toad and many more. Koppanyszanto …is a taste of ‘REAL HUNGARY’ with a chance to see wine press houses amongst the vineyards, the local apiary, houses hung with paprika and the passing horse and carts, Koppanyszanto almost feels like it’s part of a bygone age. Take a walk to the local shop or visit the kocsma (pub)/pizzeria and share a drink with the locals who have accepted us with such hospitality. There’s a playground, football field and stream for wearing out the kids or having a picnic. You can even buy a picnic from us! The church stand proud on the top of the hill overlooking the village and is definitely worth a visit. The bus will take you to nearby Tamasi to wander round the Deer Park, maybe take one of the walks, explore the town or visit the Thermal Spa. We are located within driving distance of 3 spas each offering their own individual style so you are sure to find one that suits you. If you would like to fish and have your own equipment, let us know and we will organise a few hours at a private lake. The lake also offers a great location to meditate, sit spot and just relax and reflect.
