The property was originaly a stone farmhouse and outbuidings. It was built around 1820 and out houses, (stone faced) were added to over the years. Our family married into the owners family in 1953. I spent a lot of my child hood here; as did my children. I actually moved here and worked the farm in the mid 1960s. Farm work was hard then no electric or running water. The cows were milked by hand. Hard work. I went back to England but still came for holidays and in 1995 after the death of my uncle my aunt sold off the land and farmhouse, this I bought off of her. In 1999 my wife and I moved over along with my son and his wife we set about turning it all into holiday homes. 90% of the work we did our selves, we would work during the day then come home and start here and at weekends. It took us some years, blood, sweat and tears but we got there in the end. We have our own well, fresh spring water from 72 ft down, ( it is tested each year for purity ). In winter time it is ice cold, mind you at this depth it is quite cold in the summer also. You apraoch our houses down our own private tree lined ave. The car park is at the rear. Safe for motorbikes and cars overnight.

We are in the heart of County Wexford in a very rural farming setting. It is very peace full and quite. The neighbours are all very nice and would help any body out if they were stuck. One has his own garage any problems with the car he is the man. Very central for beaches, and places of interest.
