Ruth and Liam were wonderful hosts. The pub was especially fun with delightful music from some local musicians who gather to play there on Friday nights. Very clean room and a nice hot shower. Breakfast was delicious and Ruth was a very funny storyteller (and had plenty of expert advice about local sights).

'Spotless' is an oft-used word in reviews but this time it is truly spot on: Ballyglass is probably the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. Dust, dirt or stains simply don't exist in this magnificent old rambling house and the restaurant was tip top too. I'd a tasty vegetarian stir fry by the fire there and breakfast the next morning was delicious too. There's a great choice of cereals, fruit and yogurts and even seeds for vegans too. The owner Ruth is very friendly and accommodating and the price was also very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Such a great place! Greeted by Ruth and she was so kind and accomodating. Great breakfast! We ate dinner in town so I can't say how their restaurant is for dinner. Lovely location and grounds. Plenty of room, loved the room! Private bath. Would so recommend and would stay again in a flash.

We are a family run country house hotel, 2km from Tipperary and located near to Kilshane House and Aherlow House.
We love welcoming visitors to Ballyglass and sharing her history.
Ballyglass is located at the gateway to the beautiful Glen of Aherlow. We are twenty minutes from Cahir Castle and The Swiss Cottage and twenty minutes from The Rock of Cashel.
