In 2020, we built a custom made wood cabin to allow you to share in the beauty of Lough Hyne. The Cabin at Lough Hyne Cottage allows you to immerse in nature all while enjoying the standards of a luxury hotel. A luxury double shower, luxury linen from Brooklinen, a cloud couch from Restoration Hardware and Irish wool throws. We have created a beautiful and intimate setting for you to enjoy spending time in nature. The cabin is a custom built self contained studio unit built by local crafts people using only local timber. The interior is open plan with a heated polished concrete floor which creates a light bright and beautifully warm space. The folding double bed allows plenty of floor space for guests to do yoga or just feel a sense of space while reading a book on the sofa. There is a cozy mezzanine overlooking Lough Hyne which is ideal for reading or star gazing at night. For sunny days, the expansive deck is a fabulous place to enjoy reading a book or eating outside listening to the many birds singing in the nearby mature native trees. The cottage is set up with a small kitchenette to prepare light meals.

Lough Hyne Cottage is also a growing organic farm. As a guest you are welcome to join us on the farm during your stay and can avail of the many fruits and vegetables that are ripe and in season.
