My wife asked to have the feather comforter to be exchanged because of her allergies. It was changed so fast. Breakfast was so delicious, and Sue's pancakes were yummy.

Sharamore House is a beautiful property located a few miles outside Clifden on the main road. The property is very pretty, and our room was spacious, with a bay window overlooking Omey Island. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we wish we had been able to stay for more than one night. Clifden is a lovely town.

We liked everything. Our hostess greeted us upon arrival and showed us our room. Recommended restaurants at our request. Told us when breakfast was in the morning and wished us a good evening. Our room was nice. Plenty of room for a couple and even an additional traveler if you were bringing a friend. The bed was comfortable with nice fluffy pillows. Our shower this morning before breakfast was refreshing and hot with good pressure. We both had fruit bowls and small Irish breakfast with orange juice and hot tea. Our hostess even gave us discount entrance to Kylemore Abbey. We look forward to staying here on our next visit. Thank you Kevin

Liked absolutly everything. We could'nt fault anything, perfect location. super host in Sue, Very relaxing enviornment. Beautiful quiet bright airy bedroom, spotless and tastefully decorated. Fantastic breakfast Great friendly helpful staff. Will be back and will recommend to family and friends.

Breakfasts were outstanding. Sue is a wonderful chef. She was so knowledgeable about the area and helpful getting us organized, knowing where there were good walking trails and where the best music and food was. She even went so far as to clean my muddy hiking shoes for me

We moved into Sharamore House in 1993. At that time it was about 1000 square feet and in need of extensive renovation, we liked the area its close enough to Clifden but away from the noise. Since then we have added about 4000 square feet to the house purpose built for bed and breakfast.
John and Sue Brittain have been running their faulty home as a Bed and Breakfast since 1994. We love the area, the views, the sea, the wonderful walking and the stunning scenerey.
Streamstown is less than 5 mins drive from Clifden on the N59 to Westport. We have a nice view over Streamstown Bay looking toward the Sky Road peninsula. We are surrounded by fields with cattle sheep and horses and there is a stream in front of the house.

    Directions: If coming from Clifden, take the N59 to Westport. After 1.9 mi, take the left turning signed for Claddaduff. Sharamore is the two-story yellow house just 100 feet along this road, on the right hand side. It is less than a 5-minute drive from Clifden town.
