A good stop place in Westfjords. The apartment is spacious, with good kitchen device. You can also bought lamb steak, eggs from the host. It's really convenient when I arrive at Sunday evening.

Property location is easy to find. Great view. The staff is great. Property is a little run down but it reflects on the price so we can't complain. Got games & TV with Netflix to keep family entertained, which was a bonus, especially after a long day of driving. There was no hot water when we stayed there though, apparently it affected all the area, but we weren't told about it until after we arrived for a few hours (or we would have had a shower from the Pools/Hot spring place we visited before we turned up at the property). I hope it's all fixed now.

The place was like a small house with the small kitchen as the common area and there are 2 bedrooms. There are lupins just opposite the parking in front of the house and the sea view opposite the road The facilities were enough for a short stay. It was clean, tidy and comfortable.

This guesthouse was very homey and cozy, felt like a home, not a rental! The kitchen was well supplied with various utensils and pots and pans, even a few spices and such. The location was great and easy to find. It was close to a small pool and hot spring, but regretfully we didn't visit them. I would definitely stay here again. Just an FYI, the nearest grocery is about 25 minutes away through some steep roads.

Here is a peaceful and quiet environment. This is often the starlit and you can see the northern lights. Can provide a personalized service with knowledge of the area.
We are a married couple, both born in the countryside and Þórður born here in this country. Main interests is to breed good sheep and work with it. We have about 100 sheep and 20 Icelandic poultry. Use your free time in the outdoors, travel, crafts and reading stories and information about the area. Likes to tell visitors from the region and provide the care economy. As you can buy products from us, smoked smoked lamb plus more.
it is a natural pool and hot tub within walking distance. the other side of the fjord, you can often see Snæfelsjökull. The community here is small and friendly, and has creative farmers in the area and two fish food companies. During the summer the ferry Baldur comes twice a day and Hotel Flókalundur is open. During the winter you can see the northern lights. for those who want to get in touch and get to know the farmers and their work it is possible to vist them. In the spring lambs are born. in the autumn you can go walking with the farmers to retrieve sheep of the mountains
