Just 400 meters from the bus stop that from the airport will take you to Piazza Politeama and vice versa. Just a 5 minute walk along the Via Ruggero Settimo (famous shopping area), you will find yourself in the historic center, at the Teatro Massimo and at the beginning of Via Maqueda, a pedestrian area that will take you to the Quattro Canti, in Piazza della Vergonga and the Corso Vittorio Emauele (Cassaro) that from the sea (Cala) crosses Porta Felice and reaches the Cathedral ending at Porta Nuova and the magnificent Palazzo Reale (Palazzo dei Normanni) with its Palatine Chapel one of the UNESCO World Heritage. From our position all the local markets can be reached in a very short time, from the Mercato del Capo to the Mercato della Vucciria and certainly the most famous Ballarò market.
