Corte Arneo 1939 Villa & Pool is a recent receptive structure born in Leverano from the renovation of a 1930s farmhouse. The name is intended as a tribute to the "Terra d'Arneo," the part of the Salento peninsula included along the Ionian coast and characterized by the presence and beauty of its vineyards and olive groves. It is reported that, historically, due to its location and conformation, the dwelling served the servants of the neighboring estates and farms, both as a shelter for animals and storage for work tools, and as a place of rest. In addition, the building's location on the road that led to the nearby source of drinking water known as "puzzu duce," so called because of the quality and sweetness of the water that rose from it, made it an ideal place for the supply and storage of water supplies for the use of neighboring farms and farmhouses. Restored to its former function as a place of well-being and rest, after a skillful restoration, Corte Arneo 1939 offers its guests a pleasant and relaxing stay in traditional vaulted rooms and a swimming pool in the inner courtyard.

We introduce ourselves! We are Sabrina and Nunzio, parents of two boys, Christian and Andrea and owners since 2016 of this beautiful structure. Our passion for architecture, art and great love for our land, led us for a long time, looking for a place that could tell and summarize all this; Then it happened..and it was love at first sight!
