We will meet us to give you the keys of the structure and some suggestions on places and events of interest and area restaurants. If you arrive later than 10 pm, we will give you self check-in instructions.

There are 2 large bedrooms with TV and air conditioning, the first with a view of the Basilica of San Lorenzo. In addition to the double bed, we can also prepare a single bed. In the second bedroom there is a double bed that can be divided into two singles, and a third single can be added if desired. The two bathrooms are both complete with shower, bidet, hairdryer, soaps, toilet paper and 3 towels for each guest. In the kitchen you can find everything you need to cook. This is especially advantageous if someone in your group has food preferences that make the usual fare at traditional Florentine restaurants difficult and would prefer, say, fresh pasta or fresh salad greens from the market, or some wine and cheese. It is literally around the corner, and in the food hall upstairs there are dozens of stands serving fresh food at reasonable prices. It can be a bit of a crush, however, and eating around the table at our apartment, with the Basilica so close you can almost touch it, can be a memorable experience. The apartment features high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, TV with Netflix, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster.

The San Lorenzo district is the most typical in Florence, where you can easily sense the aura of bygone days. In addition to a number of fine Tuscan eateries, we are near the central market, Florence’s biggest food hall: just take the escalator up and choose from dozens of food offerings: there’s something for everyone! And if you prefer to eat at home, shop downstairs in the morning before heading off to one of the many fascinating destinations nearby and then put your tired feet up back at the apartment.
