The start of the famous 90-mile beach (one of New Zealand's longest stretches of beach) is just 1-minute walk down the road waiting for you to soak up more of the gorgeous Far North sunshine. When you feel like a bite to eat, pop on over the local cafe just a 2-minute drive away or renown Bidz takeaways, as they do arguably the best takeaways in NZ. Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but it is one of the most scenic. Abel Tasman boasts pristine white sandy beaches, tranquil estuaries and wonderful forested headlands. The Coastal Track is world famous, and visitors can choose to explore it on their own, or with a guide. Other ways to explore the coastline include sea kayaking, yacht, or water taxis. At the southern entrance to Abel Tasman National Park there is fantastic opportunity for visitors to swim with seals.
