Upon entering, you'll be welcomed by a tastefully decorated interior radiating warmth and charm. A log burner ensures exceptional warmth during winter, creating a cozy atmosphere for relaxation on the comfortable sofas. The central hub comprises the open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area, equipped with modern amenities, including a smart TV and free wifi. Entertainment options abound, with a DVD player, books, and board games. Two well-appointed bathrooms, including an ensuite for the master bedroom, ensure a perfect private retreat. Terrace Downs Resort, a short 15-minute drive away, offers a world-class golfing experience, complemented by a restaurant, cafe, and bar open to the public. Lake Coleridge Village, a remote rural town, lacks public transport, but everything is easily accessible by walk or drive. From the village it is a short walk to Power Station, Rakaia River, a children's playground and tennis courts. Off roading, hunting and fishing all close by, as well as lots of walking options, including woodland walks in arboretum. The nearest supermarkets are in Darfield or Methven, both a 45-minute drive from the village. Please note there are no shops in the village, please ensure you bring all supplies needed for your stay. Located just one hour's drive South-West from Christchurch, Methven is the centre point to 9 ski fields in Canterbury, with the well known Mt Hutt only 40 mins away. If you're not a skier or snowboarder there's still many reasons to visit this stunning town. With Mountain biking tracks close by, horse trekking, 4WD high country adventures and even hot air ballooning there's something for everyone.
