Ideally located between Whakapapa & Turoa ski fields and close to the Old Coach Road, Mt Ruapehu, The Crossing, walking tracks and mountain bike trails. Perfect for Groups/Families, the lodge offers sleeping for 46 people in bunk configurations. With 1 room currently having a double bed (more rooms will be converted to doubles at some stage) Please bring your own linen (pillow case, sheets, blanket/sleeping bag, towels) 2 living areas (one of them with a TV and DVD players in it), 4 bathrooms, large kitchen and dining, games area, drying room in winter and plenty of outdoor space.

Ben and Kylie moved their family here from Tauranga in June 2019. They have a love for all things outdoors – Biking, Hiking and the Snow. For their honeymoon their idea of fun was walking the Kepler Track in the South Island… in 2 days! (Usually a 3/4day hike) We are adding a new lease of life to the lodge - completing a lot of the work ourselves where we can. Our goal is to watch the lodge grow and thrive, and for guests to continue to enjoy all that Ruapehu has to offer. We live in the Managers House near the lodge.
