Colca Andina Inn is located in the heart of Chivay. It's a great choice if you're exploring el Valle del Colca and also to walk around Chivay. Rooms aren't so big, but they're still comfortable. Unlike other hostels in the area, the water runs, and it's hot (which is nice!) Breakfast is served in the terrace (covered) from which you have beautiful views of the valley and the volcanoes.

Very good stay when visiting Colca Canyon, beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. A heater is also provided in the room for cold nights. Breakfast was simple but good for a day of walking and with a nice view on the mountains surrounding Chivay. Definitely worth the money you pay.

Welcoming staff always looking to make you comfortable. They organised our two day trip in detail (Arequipa to chivay, chivay to Puno). We had a moveable heater that was sufficient to heat the room. Magnificent view on the breakfast area. we were served hot bread with fresh fruits for breakfast!

The room was nice, the beds good, just quite cold, but one could lend a heater for 15 Sol per night. The breakfast room is very nice with a great view over Chivay. The breakfast was nothing special but good. As I was suffering from severe altitude sickness I could not really enjoy the nice city of the Chivay but the accomodation is located quite near to the center. Fortunately we found a farmacia very close to the accomodation where they sell oxygen and other helpful meds. The accomodation offers coca tea - and if you chew leaves make sure to use something sweet in combination.

  • Hello! Do you also offer transport from/back to Arequipa? We would like to visit colca canyon without taking a tour directly from Arequipa.
