Praia de Areia Branca is a lovely little town located 65km from Lisbon and 75km from the Portela airport. The perfect connection via commuter transport makes the transfer from the airport convenient and fast, even in late evening hours. Peniche coast is famous especially for its pleasant waves, which create perfect conditions for surfers, also the beginners ;) The town can satisfy the needs of every holiday rest lover. Three renowned surfing schools have their seat there. Their experienced crew will help any novice of the surfing craze jump on the wave. The place is also full of opportunities for new taste seekers. The town center is home to three restaurants: Italian, Hindu, Portuguese (offering fresh seafood) and two pastelarias (traditional Portuguese patisseries). Praia de Areia Branca is a fantastic base for exploration of the Atlantic coast. Buses to Peniche and Lisbon go all day long, every hour from a bus stop located 100m from Silverado Apartment.
