Diane and Roy, the owners, occupy the top floor apartment which has a separate side entrance leaving the rest of the Villa, terraces and swimming pool for the sole use of guests. The owners only require access for pool/garden maintenance. The Villa is on the edge of Pereiro de Alem with beautiful views down over the village and to the mountains beyond yet just a short drive to river beaches and only 20 minutes to the University city of Coimbra. With the Mondego river and its numerous river beaches only a 5 minute drive away perfect for fishing, swimming and Canoeing. The seaside town of Figueiro de Foz with its lively atmosphere and beautiful beaches just 50 minutes away and only 5 minutes from Vila Nova de Poiares with its good choice of restaurants and amenities.
