Scott is a practicing physician whose pastimes include landscape photography and writing (he's 180 pages into his first novel). Melody has run our non-medical businesses for years after working as a physical therapist and starting a home health agency and a skilled nursing rehab program. We have three very grown kids, a daughter-in-law, a pending son-in-law, and two grandkids. I started a new venture in 1997 by becoming the innkeeper for the Williams House Bed and Breakfast in Amelia Island, Florida. Hello, I am Sherwood the Innkeeper my story is that after several years of innkeeping, I joined a group of friends in opening three restaurants. All of these succeeded, but I discovered that restaurants were not my passion. After five years, it was time to return to innkeeping.

Each of our luxurious guest rooms at Bella Collina has been designed to maximize the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Willamette Valley. Our house was constructed with comfort and privacy in mind, as shown by features such as: private deck, double-headed, tiled showers, Heated Tile Floors, Wet bar with sink, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and frig. We features a large great room with floor to ceiling glass and a large common deck that opens to the panoramic vistas. The grounds feature a gazebo by the pond and its three waterfalls, as well as a patio with an outdoor fireplace. There is a 3/4 acre lawn. Bella Collina is the perfect launching point for over 100 wineries and tasting rooms in the in the very heart of Oregon's wine country.

We are located only 1½ hours from “The Columbia Gorge” with the greatest concentration of high waterfalls in the U.S. along side Yosemite and Hood River one of the greatest wind surfing capitals of America.
