Hi, I'm Jay. My wife, Cody, and I run several Airbnb properties in the OKC area. We also have 2 sons, Maddox and Otis. I'm a teacher, athletic trainer, and boys volleyball coach. Lincoln Terrace is a historic neighborhood situated on either side of N Lincoln Blvd south of the Capitol. The first homes in Lincoln Terrace were built in 1918, one year after the Capitol itself was completed. Lincoln Terrace boasts a wide variety of architecture, from classic American Colonial to Tudor and Italian revival styles. Most homes are large, two-story houses with spacious interiors, grand staircases, multiple fireplaces and an abundance of windows. Lincoln Terrace was designated as a historic preservation district in 1974 and on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. Fun fact! The Capitol of Oklahoma is the only capitol in the world with an oil well under it. Directly across from the house is a historic oil pump that is still operating! There is free off the street parking in the driveway and there is a 1 car garage. It’s an extremely short Uber drive to Downtown (about 5-6 minutes). It’s also within biking distance to Downtown or about a 20 minute walk if you don’t mind traveling along a 4 lane street with moderate traffic.
